                                                                Supermarket Rose

In “Found Flowers’ I described myself as a ‘drive by shooter.’                                              If I saw something  pretty while I was driving, I would stop and take a picture or 3 or more.

I am also a ‘walk by shooter.’ This rose is from my ‘supermarket boquet’ series.                                       The rose was wrapped in a $15 or $20 bouquet. I recently started re-imagining my original                     photos with AI. This supermarket rose plus a little creativity and AI became the image below.

Kaporos 10-2-2022 at Shalom Al Yisroel

 Before Yom Kippur:    Kakporos

   zeh temurahti, zeh kaparoti,

This is my substitute, this is my atonement

Thank you Angelo for taking these great photos of me
and my struggle with the rooster!

The bird’s blood drains onto the earth. This connects us with the murder of Able.

“And the Lord said, 'What have you done?                                                                       Listen; your brother's blood is crying out to me from the ground'” (Gen. 4:10).

Rabbi Hoffman will make chicken soup for a pre Yom Kippur meal                                     with the rooster and chicken.

The Woods are Alive with the Sound of Music

Cathy Introduces Me to a New Piano in the Woods

Cathy took me on a hike to hear the new-er piano that                                                  replaced the weather-worn piano that was so good                          for playing out of tune.

Cathy took me to see a weathered piano in the woods of Flying J Ranch.
Richard titled the photo "Warped Music."
